Epic Games Store: Halcyon 6 Lightspeed Edition available for free

Carrying on a tradition that we now know has been going on for many years, Epic Games continues in its "charity" operation by giving away new titles to all users, who are not required to make any financial outlay to take advantage of the publisher's mouth-watering initiatives.

This week, all lovers of space-based strategy will have something to rejoice about, since it is possible to redeem totally free Halcyon 6 Lightspeed Edition, which will permanently bind to your account and be playable at any time.

Epic Games' policy is now clear, and just a few days ago the company unveiled some interesting data regarding free weekly games.
During 2020, in fact, a total of 103 games were given away, for a total of 749 million copies redeemed, with the average per game being around 7 million.
These are undoubtedly impressive numbers, testifying to how successful Epic's strategy is proving to be in bringing as many people as possible to its platform, after initial user reluctance.

Meanwhile, Epic Games took the opportunity to unveil next week's gifts to the public. The plural is not put by chance, since starting at 5 p.m. next Feb. 18, the games that will be given away will be as many as two.
We are talking about Absolute Drift Zen Edition, a cute stylized indie in which we will have to master tracks full of curves by drifting madly with our car, and above all about Rage 2, acclaimed arcade shooter with a post-apocalyptic setting, a direct sequel to the title of the same name released back in the days of PS3 and Xbox 360.
